moderated Re: links on web pages

in addition to Bill's suggestion, when on a link, press the application
key or shift+f10. there might be an action to open in a new tab or in a
new window. then press enter on which one you want. this works if the
website has been constructed in a certain way. I say this because it
doesn't apply all the time. I don't have the foggiest idea why.

Try JAWS Key plus F7 to open the links list.
Then find the link you wish to open in the links list, and TAB to
Activate Link.
Once you reach Activate Link, try using Space Bar or ENTER.

Running Win 10 1903 and latest Jaws. I am coming up against links that
will not open with the use of the space bar or enter key. Hitting enter
on the link does nothing. This is on a web page that I can not share
for you to try. Is there another way to activate a link using Jaws?
