Yes, all browsers do.  In chrome, hit jaws+v to open the settings, type refr in the box, hit tab and you should be able to change the refresh setting from automatic, 60 seconds or off if your version is like Jaws 19, which I believe it is.

I think it may be caused by the page refreshing itself every 5 seconds.

Does Chrome automatically refresh itself at regular intervals and if so, can this be adjusted?
