Once Microsoft repaired my copy of Windows, I didn't need the legacy
features of the Command console.

I might have to try that, it does read if you virtualize the text,
which is strange. I wonder if the legacy console features have
anything to do with this? Is yours on or off?

I had an incident where the CMD as admin command wouldn't work properly.
Everybody else's machine worked in this respect. I called the Microsoft
Disability answer desk, and they did a reinstall of Windows using the ISO
file, and after the repair, my cmd as admin command would read properly.

I remember using the admin command prompt in 1809 and I don't think I ever
had any issues with Jaws not reading it, but it definitely reads it in
1903.

Hi,

I just tried elevating to Admin Command Prompt and JAWS reads it just
fine. What version of JAWS are you running?

I'm running an admin account with UAC set to the highest setting.

Its only a problem in admin mode, running as administrator.

Not sure why tech support says it's not supported. It has been
supported and reads well for as long as I can remymver. Sure about 10
years
ago jaws did horribly with command prompt but not in recent years.

Hi. At least with version 1809, jfw will not read anything in the
command window if run as administrator. If I virtualize the
window, I see the text, but other wise nothing -- jaws cursor
reads nothing as well. Tech support says its not supported, but
that makes no sense to me and Narrator reads it fine.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
