Hi, I don’t find mine runs hot at all, so it must have been doing something CPU intensive.
Any computer of this size is going to get at least a little warm, but not boiling by any means, even when the processor usage is maxed out completely.

I have played an ElBraille before and the unit itself is very sturdy. In my opinion the ElBraille is a talking Focus Braille display from Freedom Scientific. The unit come's with both 14 and 40 cells. There are things that I need to tell you about this unit. The unit itself can get very hot. If you are sensitive to hot like me i suggest not getting it. The good news about ElBraille is that You can Purchase an ElBraille in conjunction with a copy of Jaws for windows that you can activate for 2 PCs. I know for 14 cells ElBraille you can detach the docking station which is the brain of ElBraille and use it as a 14 Cells Braille Display. Conclusion: this unit is for those people who want a braille display and Jaws on a single packaged Windows10 device. if you are in a need for a braille display and a and a Windows 10 computer plus jaws license you can go ahead and get this unit.
