Yep.

Same guys who tell you to format your entire system rather than try to help you fix a simple problem.

I think that’s why I tried to learn as much as possible about the oS in particular, after getting that advice from an ISP phone tech support guy in the early 2000s.

I have often, during my now just short of 40 years in computing, uttered the phrase, "Technical support is often neither technical nor supportive."   QED when someone claims cut, copy, and paste substitute for drag and drop.
