1. Yes, pressing ctrl-T does open a new tab in Chrome.

2. To get to your bookmarks, open the Chrome menu. There are several ways to
do this but I usually press alt-F, just as if you were opening the file
menu. From there, either press the letter B or press down arrow until you
get to Bookmarks.

Generally, I rarely use bookmarks as I prefer to type in a partial name of
the site that I want to visit and, if I've visited it before, I can browse
through a list of possible names.

As an example, suppose that I've visited Freedom Scientific's Web site in
the past and I now want to visit it again. Regardless of whether I've
bookmarked the site or not I can easily find it by doing the following.


1. Press either alt-D or ctrl-L to move to Chrome's address bar.

2. Begin by typing in the name or title of the site, such as FR or free.
Chrome will attempt to fill in the name and, more often than not, it will
have filled in the correct name of the site, which I can verify by reading
the current line by pressing insert-up arrow. If it has filled in the
correct address press enter.

3. If Chrome doesn't get the name correctly just press down arrow and you
will very likely find the site that you wanted. Keep pressing down arrow to
navigate through a list of choices. Press enter and you should be taken to
that site.

So i just downloaded Chrome. Wow, this thing is fast. A few
navigation questions. What's the best way to open a new tab, i think
it's control T but it didn't seem to say anything. Also, what's the
best way to get to my bookmarks? I did an import from firefox. I'm
gonna take chrome for atest drive to see how i like it. Any other
suggestions for setup?
