Hello there;

Not sure about a strike through keystroke shortcut,
However you can ctrl+d, this take you to
Font dialog,

Someone did tell me once,
Once you press ctrl+d, to get to the font dialog,
Then you press,
Alt+ctrl+the plus key on the number pad,
Then move to check the strikethrough,
You could then create a shortcut.

I'm not certain about this.

The windows key+ the Pause key will take you to the system menu in windows
7. If you wish to print anything from anywhere in windows control+p will
print for you. Control+f will find an item inside a window. A lot of times

control+w will givfe a list of windows keys. Control+s when you are in a
document will save your information. Control+b will let you type something
in bold depend upon what version of Word you are using.
I hope these will help.

Hi Dave,

Yes, if you have any more hotkey combinations I would be interested in
them.
I never knew about the control+delete that one goes right along with
control+back space.

Are you looking for hotkeys in general for any application? However,
other
hotkeys for a word or text document are control+a to select all the text
or
control+s to save your document

or control+o to open a document or application. If you wish to delete
information in a document control+d will activate this action. If this is
what you are looking for let me know and I'll be glad your more hotkeys
for
other actions.

Hi Mike,

First thanks for the list of text selecting key strokes. You wouldn't
know
of any more of these windows key combinations such as.
Windows key+C append to clip board.
Windows key+K jump to book mark in a Word document.

Thanks.

HI Dondi,

Here is a list of the mostly used text selection keystrokes.

Selecting / Highlighing text

Selecting a letter/character; Shift +left arrow selects prior character.
Shift + right arrow selects next character.

Selecting prior word; Insert/Jaws key, shift + left arrow or control,
shift, + left arrow.

Selecting next word; Insert/Jaws key, shift, + right arrow or control,
shift, + right arrow.

Selecting text from cursor to beginning of line; Shift + Home/7 key on
number pad.

Selecting text from cursor to end of line; Shift +End/1 on the number
pad.

Selecting text from cursor to the end of a document; Control, shift, +
end/1 key on the number pad.

Selecting text from cursor to the beginning of a document; Control,
shift,
+ home/7 key on the number pad.

Selecting more than 1 line of text; Hold the Shift key down while
arrowing
up or down until you have selected/highlighted the lines you want.

Selecting all text; Control + A. This keystroke will select all the
text
in a document no matter the size or length of the document.

to select a page at a time: shift page up or down

If any of these are incorrect, someone please correct me or, if there are
more that can be added, someone please do so. Take care.
Mike

In fact, the Windows key is employed with a number of fantastic JAWS
keystrokes. One which I have come to use on an hourly basis is control
plus
windows plus k to mark a spot in a word document.
One may later jump back to that spot instantly with just windows plus k;
however, even more cool is the ability, in Word, to mark text from your
cursor to the marked spot, and it doesn't matter whether, in the
document,
your cursor is ahead of the marked spot or behind it or whether it is 4
words or 40 pages away. You mark text back to the marked spot with JAWS
key
plus space bar and then m.
Then, you can use control c to copy or control x to cut or windows c to
append.
Try it! You'll like it!

Yes, theWindows key is the key which, when pressed by itself, launches
the
start menu. There are a good number of useful shortcut keys involving
it.
Win+c is the only one I know of that is a JAWS keystroke.

I feel really stupid here. When you refer to the "windows key", is that
the
start menu key as well? I'm assuming it's not the insert key on the
number
pad. Duh!
