I have noted the same and brought this to the attention of tech support.
You will need to unload JAWS and use Narrator or some other screen reader to input your password, after which, you can run JAWS.
I hope you report this problem.

Hi: I have a flash drive that is encrypted with a password. Jaws apparently isn't taking me to the right place to enter the password using Windows 10.
I can do this in Windows 7 but not windows 10.
