Re: Using December JAWS 2019 Update Pressing Enter No Longer Activates Links in Thunderbird

OK, thank you for that feedback. When I press insert-space, followed by Z for the alternate user directory mode pressing enter works as expected. I've had other odd Thunderbird-related issues which I'm suspecting may be related to possible corruption somewhere rather than being a JAWS-specific bug. Is running the JAWS installer the best way to repair my copy? I installed it using the stub for the home annual license and I'm assuming that this installer can't be used to repair an installed copy. Therefore, should I just download the installer from the FS Web site and run that?

The following issue consistently occurs in Thunderbird.

After updating JAWS 2019 to the new December update I find that pressing enter on a link within an email no longer activates that link.

Instead, pressing enter moves the virtual cursor to the top of the message. I have checked the "link activation" setting within quick settings and the behavior is the same regardless of what this option is set for.

I am able to activate the link if I press the space key or the slash key on the numeric keypad. Can anybody else confirm this with JAWS 2019 and Thunderbird? The initial JAWS 2019 release did not have this problem.
