OK. What I forgot to do was to create a voice profile for use with the specific application. All set now. THANK YOU!

I can't believe I've forgotten how to do this. How is JAWS set to speak
at a different rate for a specific application? I can of course create a
new application profile, and everything is in there except speaking
rate. Where is that set?
