Re: JAWS and Udemy?

For some reason I don’t have either the time or the energy to figure out just at the moment, the preview videos played fine in chrome, but the actual videos for the course did not. IE, however, chomps ‘em down like gangbusters. Don’t ask me why, but that’s my limited experience. Have not yet tested with firefox, as Firefox does not like the, ahem, workaround I need to employ to be able to do it from work.

I couldn’t get it to play videos, sadly. Could be the other end they broke it, but hey, I’ll go for another spin when I’m not moving furniture throughout the universe.
Interestingly interesting. I’ve had reasonable success getting videos to play nice using latest IE and JAWS 18. The player itself takes some, er, creative navigating, but once autoplay’s turned off it’s actually tolerable. What parts of it gave you issues, out of curiosity?
Run, the other way from it.
If you value your sanity, find an institution with either blackboard or canvas.
Udemy is terrible!
How accessible/useable is the Udemy online learning site with JAWS? I’m running 18 now, but plans to upgrade to 2019 in the near future. On win 7, so still have IE, along with firefox and Chrome, both latest versions. Suggestions, up to and including looking elsewhere, appreciated.
