Re: Outlook 2016 - Turning off auto-collapse for conversations

Van Lant, Robin

I cannot get my Outlook to behave as you describe. However, the two places you can play with the conversations settings are there.

  1. View ribbon, tab over a just a few times to the Conversation settings menu and
  2. File, then options, then ease of access, has a setting for conversations.

Hope you find the right setting.

Subject: Outlook 2016 - Turning off auto-collapse for conversations

In Outlook 2016, if one intentionally expands a conversation, but then arrows up before it or down beyond its last message the whole conversation automatically collapses.

Anyone know which setting will turn this behavior off?  Once a conversation is expanded I want it to stay that way until I intentionally collapse it or exit Outlook.
