Re: JAWS hotkey for sound

so it's insert and escape? That didn't seem to do anything

If muted, it will be unmuted. Or, if the sound level somehow got set to 0
percent, this new feature will raise it to 50 percent, allowing you to
without getting assistance. The sound device is also checked every time JAWS
or Fusion is restarted. If you purposely muted JAWS speech, there is not an
issue as this new feature only looks at the Windows setting for the sound
card, not the JAWS speech settings.

That was from the What's new in Jaws 2018.

Hello Everyone,

Please help me recall the JAWS hotkey to re-initialize a sound card.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Focus on the item. Press ctrl-insert-numpad / (the simulated left mouse
button) to "pick up" the item. Move to the desired location, and perform
that keystroke again.

This might not work reliably for you. I don't know this software you
mentioned, but you might want to see if there is an alternative way to
perform the same action. Have you tried the standard cut and paste? Where do
you get the items to drag from anyway? File explorer?

Have a look through the software documentation and see if you can pick up
any clues.

My name is Hunter, and I am new here. I have a question that I hope you can
help me with. I run an internet radio station, and my streaming provider
uses centovacast for the server. It has an auto dj feature, but when you
want to add songs into a particular playlist, you have to drag it from your
media folder, into the playlist. I was wondering if anyone knows an
accessible way I can do that. Right now, I am using sighted assistance to do
that. I hope you can help. Thanks.
