I went and looked, I am using the intermediate setting.

What sort of information would I be looking to turn off that would result in hearing Read Only. What sort of information is this?

Can you use your JAWS verbosity settings? I think this is in the setting center, but I am not sure.

I am using Jaws 2018 with the update from Yesterday.

This was happening before the latest update, but it is pretty annoying and slows things down.

There is a program we use for time tracking. In this program is a table of locations that employees clock in and out of. Each job can be GPS’ed to make sure the employee is where he said he was.

The indication that a location has or has not been assigned its GPS is indicated with a Check Box.

Here is the speech history when I arrow down the table of locations.

It would be nicer and a bit faster to cut a few words out of this feedback. In particular the phrase Read Only.

Is there a way to stop Jaws from saying this?
