Re: assistance sought for replacing I.E. browser with "chrome"


Have you installed the Chrome browser on your system?   If not, that's the first thing you need to do.  In any web browser you have go to and activate the Download Now button, which kicks off the whole installation process.

If you already have Chrome installed, then all you need to do is to go into Settings, Apps, Default Apps and locate Web Browser.  Activate that control and all installed web browsers on your system should be presented as choices.  Navigate to Chrome, choose it, and it will then be your default browser.
