I am afraid I have never found a way of accessing Excel slicers. I could not find an easy way to use pivot tables, either.
I had to ask one of my colleagues to create buttons on a spreadsheet to invoke macros. However, macros can also be accessed by pressing <Alt F8> and <Tab> and scrolling down a listbox.
