I can find the history button but can not locate any information about the scan or any scan. The only information I can find is in the event viewer.

Hi list members, from what I understand, you should be able to perform the following key strokes press the windows key until you hear search then type windows defender press enter there you should be able to find the scan results. Also if you have the current windows updateyou should find 2 new items listed in windows defender that should help you stay secure.

You can find the scan results in the event viewer.
To open the event viewer go to start or the search box and type event viewer. You can then find the results under
Applications and Services Logs - Microsoft - Windows - Windows Defender.

Hi, after you've done a scan on your system if everything is fine then you would get nothing. If something was rong then there would be something saying that viruses were found and what you need to do to get rid of the viruses, also might I add that from time to time you should do a full scan of your system. It takes longer than the quick scan, but at least you've scanned your computer and no viruses are found.
