Thanks for explaining that to me.
Okay, so would this include com ports? Not the kind on the outside of the computer, but also the ones in the computer. I believe that my Braille Btech printer is assigned on eo f those.
Anyway, I hope that we find out the name of a program that does this.

Hi, Pat. Nino is talking about a port scanner, a program that scans your computer to see which ports are open, and which are free to listen. This isn’t just serial ports and parallel ports. These are also the types of ports that Outlook uses on its servers like port 993 for IMAP usage, or the old port used for unsecured email use, port 225.
