Sometimes it can even happen when I return to my computer after a break. What happens is that when I alt tab to move between open windows I start to hear "task switching" and at that point nothing works. I have to use Cortana to manage a restart. I'm open to suggestions... It is going to be close to impossible for anyone to help you out of this unless they can see how it is that you're getting into it and what's actually occurring at the time.
