 My system does this as well on occasion, not sure what causes it, it is a Freedom Scientific issue. Best bet when the program gets goofy just reboot jaws

It happens frequently, but I have no idea at all about what causes it. Sometimes it can even happen when I return to my computer after a break. What happens is that when I alt tab to move between open windows I start to hear "task switching" and at that point nothing works. I have to use Cortana to manage a restart. I'm open to suggestions...

          Are you able to get into the "task switching loop" by intention or, at the very least, reasonably consistently?

           It is going to be close to impossible for anyone to help you out of this unless they can see how it is that you're getting into it and what's actually occurring at the time.  I'm still unclear as to what, exactly, is occurring.
