What about simply texting someone. But, if you are wanting to do this from a computer, I'm not sure.

Hmm, not sure. I think maybe apps like Facebook Messenger or an app like WhatsApp are the things people are using nowadays.

If that's the case, are there any equivalents?
I think the issue is the connection to the service. If you found an old executable of the program, it probably wouldn't have anything it could connect to. Seems to me I heard that service was discontinued, and when I heard this, I wondered how long people
had been using it. I stopped using it in about 2001.
Hi,
Annabelle. I just checked
OldApps.com and
OldVersion.com, and AIM wasn’t on either of them. Why not try putting AIM, download into Google and see if anyone still has it.
So there's no chance of having older versions still out there?

Subject: Re: Does AIM Work with JAWS?
Hi, Annabelle. I think AIM has been discontinued since about 2016.
I used to have AIM on my computer, but unfortunately it was lost when my laptop's motherboard went out. This was almost 9 years
ago when I had an old IBM Thinkpad. Which brings me to my questions.
1. Is AIM still available to download or purchase? If so, where can I find it?
2. Does it work with any versions of JAWS? I have all versions of JAWS from 3.7 all the way up to JAWS 15.
