You can obviously use the cursor keys to scroll to shutdown , or if you press u it will take you to the shutdown options, pressing u a second time will shut down your lap top, or instead of pressing U the second time, you could press r to reset. It sounds really complex , but in fact its actually pretty fluid and quick once you've done it a couple of times.
