Well, I tried to record a sample track with Goldwave, but it's recording microphone sound, not system sound and I didn't see an option to select just system sound in the preferences. Also, how do you install JAWS scripts? I'm not sure if I did that correctly since I've never done scripts before.
Thanks, Amanda

Is there a way to know what version of Windows I have to see if it's a version that will work with Goldwave?

Some versions had blocked recording what you hear over the speakers, which also blocks internet streaming from being recorded, since I have no idea what version of Windows you are running, I thought it would be helpful to say that since I could not say absolutely that yes, you can record what you want with Goldwave.
Perhaps that was simply too much information, but I don't like making statements too broadly either.

What do you mean if my version of windows allows it?
I have Windows 10...

You will want to read the manual sections about selecting your recording source. You also will want the Goldwave scripts for Jaws, in which case it works very well with Jaws. Can you record system sound with Goldwave?
I'm looking for something that I can record something from iTunes or Windows Media Player, and the recording will stop when the track ends. Does this sound like something Goldwave can do?
Does Goldwave play nice with JAWS?
Thanks, Amanda
