I have done this not long ago here on Amazon.ca which could be slightly different, but it was fully accessible. Have you tried enter or you could try to turn off the virtual cursor and try to tab to the checkbox to see if you can check it then. Another way would be to try and find it with the Jaws cursor and left click it.
