Thanks dan:
This worked; I did as you suggested, Arrowed down to file, Instead of hitting enter to open it, I hit jaws-spacebar, Then o, then f for file, And it did the ocr and, it also came up with results window;

Ah, was just a guess as sometimes Win 10 can hide newly open windows behind others. Does this work: Highlight file you want to open and then Press JAWS key and space bar Press “O” to activate OCR Press “F” to acquire file. I find that sometimes this will work where “Recognize with JAWS “will not.
JAWS key and space Bar Letter “O” for OCR Letter “F” to acquire file

This , if I am correct, only works with documents that need “OCR” such as pdf’s. Results should show in the JAWS viewer. Did the viewer come up behind another window? If so, “ALT TAB” to get there.

Hey guys:
I tried to arrow to a file in file explorer folder window, I arrow to the file I want, I do a shift-f10 or an equivalent to a right click on the file, When I pick j for recognize with jaws, It says its starting but nothing comes up with results; It is with the new jaws 2018 1804 26 recent update? And win10 (I don’t know the edition); Please advise further?
