Hi, You can delete the playlist on the iPod First, open the playlist. Double tap on edit. Flick to more and double tap. In there you will find a delete button. To rename a playlist: Open the playlist, Double tap on edit, Flick to the name and you will find that it is a text field, double tap so it is editing and you can now name it whatever you want.
Later, Richard

I was able to get the songs on to the Ipod. It put them in a folder called playlist2. There is a playlist1. I want to delete playlist1 and rename playlist2. Is there a way to do this on the Ipod? Or do I have to restore the Ipod and then remove playlist1 in Itunes? Not sure where playlist1 is compared to playlist2 within Itunes.

On your iPod, make sure WiFi is on and the cable connected to the computer. In iTunes, make sure you have selected your iPod. Then, tab a lot and make sure that sync over WiFi is checked. Then, either open iTunes WiFi sync on your iPod from within the settings/general area, or tab to the sync or apply button in iTunes. You may have to do this a time or two, but it should work. It is easier to track the progress on your iPod in the iTunes WiFi sync. This assumes you have music to sync andor wanting to do a backup. Also make sure syncing music is checked in iTunes. Remember, Apps are no longer handled from iTunes directly. HTH, Richard
