Hi, Dacia. You can do a repair of your newest JAWS, however, you did say that you tried to uninstall it. It gave you an error when you tried to uninstall it. Therefore, I don’t know if the uninstall actually went through. If it did, you will first need to reinstall the newest JAWS. If you still get the error you mentioned which you got when installing JAWS, then you must do a repair.



to do the repair:

1. Run the JAWS Installer again. It will detect that JAWS has already been installed. It will come up with a “Repair” button.

2. Press ENTER or SPACE on that button, and the JAWS repair should begin.

Yes, knowing how to do a repair would be great. Also, for some reason, it’s not even coming on when I boot my computer. I thought I had checked the check box that said start at login screen and the chip box it said start after log on as well. But it does not, so I have to open an older version of jaws. Can I do a repair on the new were version well I’m running an older version since the new were version is it working?

Hi everyone,



For some reason my JAWS 2018 wasn't starting at the log-in screen so

I had my husband help me log in then asked him to click on jaws 2018

so w could launch it and I could change the settings to make it start

at log-in but when I click on it it says something like ordinal45

can't be found in link library or something like that. I tried to

uninstall the jaws 2018 and it says the uninstall failed.

Any suggestions on what to do? I'm using jaws 18 until I can fix it.
