No, the title for the app accessed with Windows plus I is Windows Settings. The title for Control Panel reads, All Control Panel Items.

Hi Joseph,

Thank you for the correction.  I was told this was a context menu for the control panel.

Hi,

Windows+I opens a completely different program.

Cheers,

Joseph

Hi Steve,

Type control panel into the search field, & you will get a control panel just like in Windows 7.  It looks like you're using the, Windows key + I, keystroke which opens a context menu of the control panel, at least that's my understanding of the, Windows + I, keystroke.  Power options is in 1 of those categories you posted, but I'm not sure which one.  I can't check because my Widows 10 system is down at the moment.

Take care.  Mike.  Sent from my iBarstool.

I find no such choice in Control Panel. I have:

System and Security

Review your computer's status

Save backup copies of your files with File History

Backup and Restore (Windows 7)

Network and Internet

View Network Status and Tasks

Choose Homegroup and Sharing Options

Hardware and Sound

View Devices and Printers

Add a device

Programs

Uninstall a Program

User Accounts

Change Account Type

Appearance and Personalization

Clock, Language, and Region

Add a language

Change input method

Change date, time, or number formats

Ease of Access

Let Windows suggest settings

Optimize visual display

No power options option.

However, if I search system settings for "POWER", I get a few choices, none of which have fast-start on their dialo

I don't know why the fast start is found after pressing enter on the
settings that are currently unavailable. if anyone knows, I'd like to
know. if I'm wrong, I'd want to know for the future when I eventually
move to W10 for good.

I have a super fast machine that boots into windows in less than 5
seconds... This is with fast start disabled. Yet Jaws takes 10 to 15
seconds to start.
My win 7 machine starts Jaws immediately.

hi listers,

happny new year to everyone,

my question is this,

how much does it take to jaws start up when you turn on your computer?

I use windows 10 64 bits, intel core i5 and jaws 2018 and after I
logged in it takes about 25 seconds to jaws to start up.

is this on the normal range?

what do you think?
