yes, I'm totally sure, I got some light perception on my right eye not enough to distinguish a thing but I made one of my relatives to confirm this feature and now I'm working with screen shade all the time since before this new feature when I just simply turned off my monitor I hardly could be sure if it really was turnd off.

Are you sure that the screen actually turns black. Mine also reports that the screen shade is on but the screen doesn't actually go dark. It just stays the same as it always does.
