Actually, it's not the line spacing you need to change. It's the spacingtoggle quoted messageShow quoted text
between paragraphs. The easiest way to do this is to use the old Office
2003 key sequence alt+o, then p. I think it's the control that says
"before". In Word 2007 and 2010, it's set to 6pt. Change it to 0pt. Then
tab to the default button. You'll be asked to confirm the change. Then tab
to the OK button and press enter. You could also check the line spacing
while you're there to make sure it is also what you want. hth.

In Office 2010 the default spacing is wider than single spacing. Using JFW
13 I cannot seem to locate how to change the spacing to single. I know I
can highlight the document and use the short cut control plus the number 1,
but I want to change the default to single spacing. Any help would be
