Re: Quick add for Outlook contacts

Paul Sandoval

I’ll throw in my method for accomplishing this task.

1. Hit enter on the message containing the sender’s address that you would like to add.

2. Press alt 1 twice quickly to move Jaws focus to the sender field.

3. Press control A., this will select the sender’s address.

4. Press shift F10 to open the context menu.

5. Press D to select the “Add to Outlook contacts” option.

Many ways to skin a cat.
I hope this helps.

Thanks. I tried a couple things like this in a tandem connection today. But
I was unable to get the context menu to open. Are there known problems with
opening the context menu remotely during a tandem session?

But it's good to know the procedure for doing this in Office 365 is
essentially unchanged from what I do with my old Office 2010. Next time, if
I run into the same issue, I'll just have my friend try it on her computer

Thanks again,

give the following a try;

1, enter on the message of a contact you wish to add,

2, now shift+tab until you hear;
we'll use this email as an example;
from:; on behalf of; Paul Martz
< hold down shift key, and press the left arrow,
you should hear; Paul Martz < now press the
applications key, up arrow enter on, add to outlook contacts, now, press
note you can go through the various criteria to make sure it's there, but,
you should have no problem.

Hi all. I'm looking for a quick way to add the sender of an open email
message to my contacts.

I'm getting this information for a friend of mine, who has Office 365
on a Windows 10 system. I don't have access to
such a
setup, so I can't tinker around to find a solution. If someone here
can tell me how to do this, I'll teach her how in
our next
tandem session. Thanks.
