Adrian, I believe Ted may had had the same error experience I had. If I am

misunderstanding his situation he can clarify it. In JAWS 13 insert V now brings up Quick Settings rather than the Adjust JAWS Options dialog. He is correct in his use of the name Quick Settings in regard to JAWS 13. I believe if Ted installs the MSXML 6 component on his computer that Quick Settings will work for him as it now does for me. It certainly won't hurt to try as you might agree after reading my error message below. Here is the error message I had this morning: QuickSettings Validation Error Internet Explorer Error gathering files to parse C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Settings\enu\Default.qs Cannot use the MSXML 6.0 parser. He was trying to get Ted to be specific because we still don't know what he means by "quick settings." Besides these two possibilities, Ted could, for example, be referring to the insert-j JAWS menus. Others come to mind. When I post a query but can't remember the FS term for something, I press insert-1 to go into key identifier mode. Usually pressing the key combination produces the verbalization of the term. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounces@...
