What brand of laptop? There are usually settings in the power options to dim the screen. It’s not off, but believe me, it’s dim enough that no one can make it out. I keep mine as low as possible since my eyes don’t handle bright light well. I know no one can see it unless I turn the brightness up because I’ve occasionally forgot when sighted people are using it.

Hello,

I know, pretty silly subject line, huh? Anyway, does your computer monitor have a button to turn it off? I’d try that whenever you don’t need it on.

Subject: wizmo

Hey guys!

I am a jaws screen reader user, I am blind and I just wanted to know if wizmo can do the following!

I am looking to turn off my computer screen, so no one can see what I am doing on my computer.

But I still want to use the key board or mouse.

Can I configure wizmo to turn off the screen and still have the computer screen off if I use the key board or mouse?

Thanks!!
