I heartily endorse this suggestion. My problem wasn’t as dire but it did afflict 2 machines and the people at Microsoft were very thorough, methodical and helpful while getting me sorted even while needing to escalate me to tier 2 engineers. All is sorted by me now and I can once again smile sitting in front of working machines.  I hope they can sort our fellow list member’s situation out equally as efficiently.
