Hi, Tom. Open Word.
Press INSERT plus V to open quick settings.
Arrow down to List and Table Options if you can find this setting in Word.
Make sure “Lists Identify Start and End” is unchecked
Tab to OK to preserve settings.

Subject: How to get rid of "lis box item" spoken at the beginning of each line of a list item
For some reason, Jaws has now suddenly started saying “list box item” at the beginning of each line of text in word documents that contain lists of bulleted items.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this anoying extra verbosity?
I have not changed any settings that I know of. Am using Word 2016 in Office 365.
