My experience is that very few of the books I have purchased allow the

new works-with-jaws feature set. So I am likely sticking with using
calibre to convert kindle books to something I can easily use.

There was a podcast on the Blind Bargains website from CSUN talking about
the latest version of Kindle for PC which has improved accessibility. It
seems to work much better with NVDA than JAWS at the moment, though.
It is version 1.19.

I will try and dig up the steps later today. I had a student who had Kendle
books for some school assignments and I was able to find a converter that
would turn them into MS Word documents, keep links, headers and so on.
Really sweet converter.

Hi All, Does anyone have experience with reading Kindle books with JAWS
I found Kindle for PC accessibility Installer version 1.14.43034 but am not
sure if this is the most current version.
Off list is fine but any tips on the procedure will be much appreciated.
