I would say that you want to have nothing less than an I7 processor. I would stay away from Lanova, and Acer myself. I like Dell, some Asus and of course Macs that have been bootcampt.

Pretty much most of them will do and it comes down to personal preference with respect to how big you want it to be, do you want a laptop that has a numeric pad etc. I personally like to use Jaws with the numeric pad and therefore whenever I look for a laptop I usually look at 15.6 inch models as quite a few of them do have a numeric keypad on the right.
One other consideration is memory, make sure you get a laptop that has at least 8 Gb of RAM, I usually even get one with 16 Gb or upgrade it to 16 Gb.
I personally like laptops which have an SSD (solid state drive) instead of a traditional hard drive. If you need lots of storage than that may not be an option because while SSD prices have come down a lot, beyond around 500 Gb they are still quite expensive. Also, if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive laptop then you probably won't find one that has a decent size SSD.
