Exact steps I used, but like I said they wouldn't work consistently, & this
was attempted with 3 desktops & 1 laptop all running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
I also tried with updating from 2.2 to the latest 3.0, & fresh installs of
3.0 after removing using the MWB removal tool. What I didn't try was
changing any settings because I wanted to make comparisons between 2.2 & 3.0
as the computers were.

Well, accessibility is subjective to a degree. As to your point, I was able
to edit a scheduled scan. I chose the Schedule Tab by checking it with the
enter key. Then I hit the space barr on Edit Schedule anmd was able to
adjust the time, frequency and any other setting and then save my changes.

Yes, you can navigate it, but being accessible is another thing. Have you
tried doing a simple accessibility task, like scheduling a scan? I couldn't
get the scheduler to work with any kind of reliability factor at all. I'm a
big stickler about the difference between being able to navigate & being
accessible.

I'm running Malware Byes Premium version 3.06 and can get reliable
information by tabbing from field to field from within the interface. To
date, I haven't had any threats detected, but I can access the various tabs
and dialogs in a reasonable manner.

Hi Maria,

Yes, it still updates, but you need to know how to turn off program
updating, so only the definitions update, but you need to be running the Pro
version to have the option to turn off program updating.

MWB 3.0 is not accessible. You can navigate it, but accessible it's not.
MWB 2.2 is accessible with a little practice.

I greatly appreciate the feedback. Is Malware Bytes version 3 accessible?
My paid license is an annual subscription, and I assume it applies to both
the current and any previous version of MB; I have been running their
version 1.75, since I was warned on this list that version 2 was not
accessible. I have not tried Version 3. Please advise, and much thanks!

The current version of Windows Defender that comes with Windows 10
is a perfectly serviceable and accessible (at least for the
moment) antivirus program. Depending on which version of Malwarebytes you
have a license for it may, or may not, be a straight antimalware program or
a combination antivirus-antimalware program. The folks at Malwarebytes are
claiming that version 3.0 "makes antivirus obsolete." Given their
reputation and what I would presume is their desire to keep it I'd have to
believe their marketing claims stand up in practice.
