It is really difficult to say, I installed the compact voice packages for English and German and after I restarted Jaws all the voices were there. Have you called Jaws to see if they can help you figure it out? Maybe they can log in via Tandem and check it out.

But I don''t. I'd like to receive a simple, clear explanation why after installation of compact voices I can't find them at the synthesiser's list. I do everything and at the end of the installation I restart jaws.
But nothing and nothing again. Vocalizer expressive is marked, I've found it at the settings. Which could be the reason? Please any ideas?

Just my opinion, but I find Jaws 18 runs perfectly stabil and well and it did so even during the beta cycle.

Have a look under Programs and Features, and check the list of
installed programs. Each high-quality voice should be shown as
installed (they're under Vocalizer Expressive in the list of
installed programs). I haven't installed the compact voices, so I don't know how they're listed.

If voices don't appear under Programs and Features, then they
haven't been installed properly and I would suggest running the MSI
installation package again.
