That should have been, "Has someone got the Sticky Keys feature unintentionally enabled?"

To check it under Windows 10:  Settings, Ease of Access, Keyboard Pane, Sticky Keys toggle.    It's also worth making sure that the two toggles for "Display a warning message when turning a setting on with a shortcut" and "Make a sound when turning a setting on or off with a shortcut" are enabled.

A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.
