my version of Firefox is at 49.0.1, and the
layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled is still available. it is set to
false but the JAWS cursor still cannot access FF's screens. I hope
someone figures out what to do to "free" the JAWS cursor.
NVDA also cannot review FF's screens. and I bet Window Eyes cannot either.

Hi, folks. Firefox's JAWS cursor seems still to be unusable with
firefox. Furthermore, Mozilla took away the
option from the about:config file. Has anyone here filed a report with
Mozilla about this, and has there been any response to the problem that
we cannot read parts of web pages with the JAWS cursor to make changes
that cannot be made with the vertual cursor?
