When you want to create a shortcut to the desktop for one of your programs, presstoggle quoted messageShow quoted text
the windows key and type the name of the program you want to create a shortcut
for, (in your case Mark, type the word mail) and press the application key.
Next, using your arrow key go down to "send to submenu" and press enter.
Now with your arrow key go down to "desktop (create a shortcut)" and press enter
or just simply press the letter d and press enter.
Your shortcut is created.

Instead of hitting windows key and typing mail, then hitting enter, how can I
put a short cut straight on the desk top?
