I'm using AdwCleaner, for me it's very fast and good anti-virus
scanner! All is done soon and fine! If you'd like to try it:

I use Avast and have used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for several years.  It
is reasonably accessible, meaning you have to use the JAWS cursor to access
some functions on its menu.  The tray icon, invoked with "Insert + F11"
brings up an accessible menu from which you can check boxes to turn
functions on and off.
