You probably can't send a large file as an e-mail attachment. Most providers have limits between 1 and 10 mb. In any case, zipping a file is always a good idea. Many uncompressed files are posted to SendSpace and seem to download without problems. Only after spending an hour or two listening to the file do you find problems that a quick test of the zip file would detect.
