I'm not sure this is true if you have JAWS Professional version. I've never
paid for a separate piece of software. Perhaps if you just have regular
JAWS, you have to buy this separate package.

Using a citrix or Windows remote desktop to work with a remote computer, not
only do you have to have a version of JAWS on each machine, you also have to
purchase an additional piece of software from Freedom Scientific, called
Remote Access, which has to be installed on the local machine, in oreder for
you to be able to use JAWS on the remote computer to control the remote
computer from the local computer.

Remote Access, costs an additional US $200.00,.

I've used a VPN with no problems. We used something called FireBox.
If you connect via Citrix, JAWS has to be loaded both at the server and on

your client machine. That's kind of a pain.
The VPN was much, much better.
I'm not sure all VPNs work the same way.
