Re: looking for programs to play DVD's that are accessible with JAWS

Read the help file. I have to warn you, though, its reasonably well-behaved with DVD's, but Blu-rays are another matter. Shortcut keys won't work, and you're forced to rely on right mouse clicks.

Annabelle: I, too, have Cyberlink Power DVD, but honestly don't know how to use it. My version is supposed to also play Blu-ray; this is the program that I find totally inaccessible with JAWS. How do you use it? What are the functions to make the program "talk" through JAWS at all?

Kevin

I have Cyberlink Power DVD which came with a laptop that I purchased a few years ago, but it's not exactly all the way accessible. I guess it depends on the DVD I'm playing within the program.

Hi,

I believe I've posted this before, but am not sure. If I did, my apologies.
I'm looking for programs that play dVD's and allow you to navigate the menus including picking episodes if it's a tv show. I have JAWS 17 and windows
8.1 and am using a Lenovo laptop. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'd prefer free, but am happy to pay some if it's a good program.
