if you want to solve most capchas independently, the best way is still the Webvisum add-on for Firefox. Yes it works with Firefox 6.

Just heard about JAWS 13 and its OCR feature. Can that be used to solve
captchas? Just curious. Looking forward to checking out 13 but I don't
