After you've selected the item shift F10 to context then select "edit text"
toggle quoted message
Show quoted text
If there is any text there then you should be able to read it otherwise the objects most likely are pictures of text or other objects within that context. -----Original Message-----

When I pressed enter on it, it just said it was selected and nothing else. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:jfw-bounces@...] On Behalf Of Greg Nickel via Jfw Sent: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 11:51 AM To: 'The Jaws for Windows support list.' <jfw@...> Cc: Greg Nickel <greg.nickel.works@...> Subject: RE: reading objects Try this. Control-shift-o creates a JAWS list of the objects. Pressing enter on an item in the list takes you to it. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:jfw-bounces@...] On Behalf Of Kimsan via Jfw Sent: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 11:47 AM To: jfw Cc: Kimsan Subject: reading objects I'm testing a scanning software, so my question is this. After scanning the document, it brings it up in word, I see all the text on the screen, but it says the document has 27 objects. I know how to list the objects but how do I read the content? I'm down arrowing and nothing is said besides blank. I'm using the 30 day abby fine reader btw. Thank you. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
