Here is how to reveal hidden system tray icons in Windows 7.

Open start menu with Windows key
Then hit escape followed by Alt Enter.
tab to the Notification / Customize button and enter
Check the checkbox for always turn on all icons and enter
Tabbed to Okay and enter
