So, can someone clear something up for me, before sending me to the fs site
or emailing them.
How much would it cost to upgrade to 13 alone and also how much would it
cost to get 13 plus the SMA?

it's an add-on for firefox.
Did you get it installed and then read its help screen with CONTROL+F1?

How does Webvisum accomplish it then? I guess they can't divulge that
information, or the spammers will use it. I'd love to know though
because it works about 90% of the time for me.

I read about the new OCR feature in JAWS 13 that will supposedly
convert text contained within unlabeled web page graphics into
speech. I'm wondering whether this OCR function will be able to
solve image captchas. If so, it would really be a significant
improvement. Any thoughts?

No, Jaws 13 is not out yet. If you want to know for sure when it
gets released, check the Freedom Scientific Website on a regular
basis!!!
